About Sophia
I began playing piano at a young age, drawn by the instrument’s expressive power and versatility. Over the past eleven years, I have taught students of all ages and abilities, helping them achieve technical mastery, artistic expression, and performance confidence. Teaching piano allows me to combine mentorship with my passion for music, guiding students to discover their unique voice while fostering confidence and creativity. I tailor lessons to each student’s goals, learning style, and interests, ensuring an engaging, meaningful, and personalized experience. Witnessing students’ progress and joy remains the most rewarding aspect of my teaching. My teaching style is patient, adaptive, and deeply student-centered. Lessons integrate technical exercises, repertoire, theory, improvisation, and creative projects to balance mastery and artistic exploration. I encourage experimentation, self-expression, and independence, fostering both musical and personal growth.
