About Iris
My journey with piano began through early exposure to classical music and fascination with musical storytelling and harmony. This inspired me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Performance and Music Education. Over the past 10 years, I have guided students from beginner to advanced levels, helping them develop strong musical foundations and confidence.
I believe music learning should feel structured, inspiring, and supportive. My teaching style focuses on clear explanation, patient guidance, and practical exercises that help students grow naturally. I encourage students to ask questions freely because understanding develops best through curiosity and support.
Outside teaching, I enjoy studying classical repertoire, accompanying singers, and exploring modern piano styles. Staying connected to music helps me bring fresh inspiration into lessons. Teaching piano is deeply meaningful to me because I enjoy helping students discover confidence through music. My goal is to support every learner in becoming expressive and skilled musicians.

My piano lessons focus on helping students build strong technical skills while developing musical expression and confidence through structured learning. I teach finger independence, rhythm control, note reading, hand coordination, dynamics, pedal technique, and phrasing in a calm and supportive environment. Students learn how consistent practice improves both accuracy and creativity over time. Every lesson is designed to feel clear, encouraging, and engaging.
Lessons are adapted according to each learner’s level and goals. Beginners focus on posture, simple melodies, rhythm exercises, and basic reading skills, while advanced learners work on interpretation, complex coordination, improvisation, and performance preparation. I include duet practice, listening exercises, and guided repetition because active participation strengthens musical understanding effectively. Students receive supportive feedback that helps them improve without stress or confusion.
I aim to create a positive learning space where students feel comfortable expressing themselves through music. Many learners struggle with coordination or confidence at the beginning, so I focus on gradual improvement through encouragement and achievable goals. Over time, students build stronger technique, musical awareness, and expressive confidence. Piano becomes more meaningful when learners feel connected to the music they create.
