About Nyra
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education (Piano) and have 9 years of experience teaching piano to students ranging from young beginners to advanced learners. My teaching philosophy combines technical mastery, musical expression, and performance confidence. I guide students to develop technical proficiency, interpretive skills, and ensemble collaboration while encouraging personal creativity and musical exploration.
Lessons are personalized for each student. Beginners focus on technique, note reading, and simple pieces; intermediate learners enhance sight-reading, finger independence, phrasing, and expressive skills; advanced learners refine performance readiness, complex repertoire interpretation, and ensemble collaboration. Each session includes structured exercises, repertoire, and feedback to ensure comprehensive development.
Beyond teaching, I perform, explore various musical genres, and continuously research new pedagogical methods. Supporting students in achieving technical excellence, expressive depth, and musical confidence remains the most rewarding part of my career.

My piano lessons focus on helping students develop both technical skill and expressive musicality. Lessons cover finger independence, scales, chord progressions, sight-reading, rhythm, improvisation, ensemble playing, and interpretation. Students practice exercises, repertoire, and duets to gain confidence and develop expressive performance skills. I emphasize building a strong technical foundation while also nurturing creativity, emotional connection, and musical expression. Learners are encouraged to explore their unique musical style, interpret pieces thoughtfully, and perform confidently in solo and group contexts.
Lessons are tailored to the student’s skill level. Beginners start with note recognition, finger exercises, simple repertoire, and basic rhythm practice. Intermediate learners refine sight-reading, phrasing, dynamics, pedaling techniques, and ensemble coordination. Advanced students focus on complex repertoire, improvisation, expressive interpretation, performance preparation, and duet or ensemble collaboration. Each lesson integrates structured exercises, repertoire practice, and personalized feedback to ensure steady, balanced development in technique, expression, and musical understanding.
The purpose of my piano lessons is to help learners become confident, expressive, and technically capable musicians. Students develop independence at the keyboard, ensemble skills, and interpretive insight. Lessons balance rigorous technical practice with creative exploration, offering a rewarding and comprehensive musical experience.
