About Mae
I have 5 years of experience teaching piano and hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Performance and Education. Throughout my teaching journey, I have worked with students seeking stronger technical foundations, better musical understanding, and increased confidence at the keyboard. Supporting learners as they grow has always been one of the most meaningful parts of my work.
My teaching approach focuses on creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable learning at their own pace. I balance structured skill development with creative exploration so learners remain motivated and engaged. Every lesson is designed to encourage progress while maintaining enjoyment.
Outside teaching, I enjoy studying new repertoire, collaborating with fellow musicians, and exploring innovative teaching methods. These experiences continue to inspire my work and enrich my lessons. I am passionate about helping students discover the joy and fulfillment that music can bring.

My piano lessons are designed to help students develop practical skills while enjoying the creative side of music. We focus on finger independence, rhythm awareness, note reading, hand coordination, chord patterns, dynamic control, and musical interpretation. Every lesson combines technical learning with activities that encourage curiosity and confidence.
Students take part in sight-reading exercises, rhythm games, repertoire study, listening practice, scale development, and musical exploration activities. I help learners understand how different musical elements work together so they can play with greater confidence and independence. Lessons are adapted to support personal goals and learning styles.
I enjoy helping students transform small achievements into lasting musical growth. Through patient guidance and positive feedback, learners build stronger technique while developing a deeper appreciation for music. My goal is to create lessons that are engaging, encouraging, and rewarding.
