About Alina
My connection with the piano began through a deep appreciation for musical expression and storytelling through sound. This interest inspired me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Music before earning a PhD in Piano Interpretation and Pedagogy. Over the last 13 years, I have guided students through different stages of musical development.
I believe effective teaching requires patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for helping others succeed. My teaching approach focuses on building confidence while developing strong musical foundations. I enjoy creating lessons that are engaging, supportive, and challenging in a positive way.
Outside teaching, I continue studying piano repertoire, attending performances, and exploring educational research. These experiences help me bring fresh ideas into my lessons. Helping students achieve meaningful musical progress remains one of the most fulfilling parts of my career.

My piano lessons focus on helping students build strong musical skills while discovering their own artistic voice. We work on note reading, rhythm accuracy, finger independence, coordination, sight reading, and listening awareness through structured activities and carefully selected music. Every lesson encourages progress through clear guidance and consistent practice.
As learners advance, we explore expressive phrasing, harmonic understanding, accompaniment styles, dynamic shaping, pedal techniques, repertoire development, and performance preparation. Lessons are customized to match each student's goals and musical interests, creating an engaging and productive learning experience. Continuous feedback helps students strengthen both technique and expression.
I believe piano study should inspire creativity while building discipline and confidence. My goal is to help students become capable musicians who enjoy learning and performing. Every lesson promotes musical understanding, personal growth, and long-term success.
