About Jonny
Jonathan is a very passionate musician who understands the joys and struggles of being a young musician. He hopes to support young students, should they be struggling with their music studies, and will certainly be able to give a sense of security and certainty to students who are unconfident or in need of additional support. Jonathan received the highest mark in his year in his Music GCSE in 2022. He also received one of the highest marks in the exam (appraisal) in his year in Music A-level in 2024. Jonathan has appeared on stage as a clarinettist, a pianist, a saxophonist, a bassist, a drummer, and as a singer. He is confident in classical, jazz, rock & pop, musical theatre, and whichever areas of study appear in music at school. Jonathan has undergone DBS checks in the past, having worked with children in his own school. He is safe to work with children and young adults and will make a good friend.

Can also assist with queries relating to piano, clarinet, saxophone, guitar, bass guitar, drums, voice/singing, and more. Can also assist with queries relating to MuseScore (or Sibelius) and music composition. Lessons are available between 30 minutes and 2 hours. Can play piano, clarinet, saxophone and bass guitar to grade 8 standard. Can play guitar and drums to grade 6+ standard. Experienced in choral singing. Experienced in live stage performance in multiple genres. Lessons targeted at GCSE and A-level students (Year 9 to Year 13, or 13 to 18 years old). Offering support in GCSE/A-level exam, performance, and composition.
