About Harry
I am a pianist who loves teaching, piano transcriptions, video game music, and music theory. (And scale modeling on the side, ask me about it!) I would like to share my passions with you! I believe learning to play the piano should be fun, engaging, and intuitive. I hold Master of Music and Graduate Performance Diploma from Longy School of Music, and Bachelor of Arts from Bishop's University.

I offer piano lessons and tutoring sessions for students ranging from beginner to college level. Bring in pieces you are already working on or pieces you would like to learn! All ages welcome.
What I explore with my students in piano lessons:
- Effective hand choreography, natural flow of movements and sound
- Looking at music from the creator's perspective
- Easy to understand harmonic and stylistic analysis to aid creative interpretation
- How to arrange/transcribe by ear (video game music welcome)
I also offer tutoring for college level theory and exam preparations with the RCM piano curriculum.
