About Mya
I am a piano and cello teacher based in Northgate, I am 18 years old and a first year student studying at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, having graduated from All Hallows’ School in 2018. I have completed my AMusA and CMusA in piano and cello with high distinction respectively and have also completed my Grade 5 Theory. I began learning the piano and age 5 and the cello at age 8 and have had four years of teaching experience. My initial studies of instrumental music began at the Queensland Young Conservatorium, and I have since won many musical awards for my studies. I am a keen piano and/or cello teacher who enjoys sharing my knowledge with other music students.

As I began learning music at the Queensland Young Conservatorium, I approach teaching in the most patient way I possibly can. I make sure the student understands and is confident with the concepts and topics I teach them before I move on, and I keep lessons focused and enjoyable.
