I'm not sure I can write words that fully describe my satisfaction with Peter as a music instructor. My daughter has been taking cello lessons from him for nearly 2 years. He's kind, patient, and engaging. My daughter looks forward to every lesson. Peter suggests music pieces that she can learn and master, but he knows when it's time to challenge her and take her out of her musical comfort zone. Any future success she has in music is truly as a result of his teaching. Normally he comes to the house, but during the pandemic, they have used Facetime and haven't missed a beat. I highly recommend that anyone interested in Peter as a music instructor should definitely move forward with him.

Peter has been teaching my 3 children violin and piano for the past 6 years. He is excellent! Every lesson is individualized to meet each of my children’s needs. He is very patient with all of them. His teaching techniques have helped them in troublesome areas, as well as in learning new skills. He is a phenomenal musician and teacher!

Peter provides me with challenging material to practice that fits both my ability and my interest. Often the music he provides is material that he hand writes. He has a knack for pushing past where I'm comfortable without overwhelming me. I would recommend him to anyone.

Peter got right down to business and it is clear he knows what he is doing. My son is 5 and Peter kept his attention for the full 30 minutes, which is really saying something. At the end of the first lesson, my son was introduced to and could repeat note names; could play a five-note scale; and was learning his right hand from his left. I myself went to Juilliard and Yale for music and am so pleased Peter will be teaching our child(ren).
