About Harsh
I am a very curious person and a lot of what I've learnt is through exploring various areas of music and musicality by myself. I've also grown up in an environment full of musicians (my father being a tabla player) and picked up little knick-knacks of knowledge throughout my early years listening to the music that was being made around me and also eventually playing with exceptionally good musicians.
I have spent hours trying to make connections between the scientific intricacies of music in our own culture of Hindustani Classical Music and other foreign cultures. I am very fascinated by how the Indian and Western systems of Music theory over-spill onto each other and how it can be used to enrich our approach towards music in a very application centric view.

Classes would be between 60-75 minutes and we'll go through a very personal process of what you would be curious to learn, some structured practice patterns and discussions about music theory and exercises to internalise and apply theory into your playing.
As a pianist my main areas of study have been solo piano as well as accompaniment within various genres including Pop, Jazz, Bollywood and Indian Classical.
I have a distinct fascination for how the Indian and Western systems of Music theory over-spill onto each other and how it can be used to enrich our approach towards music in a very application centric view. I would love to share some of that curious exploration.
All age groups are accepted for Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced level classes.
