About Sapphire
Hi, I’m Sapphire! I’m 19 and after taking my gap year I will be attending Manchester Metropolitan to study Physiology with specific focus on Neuroscience. Studying Law, Politics and Psychology at A-Level, I previously received A Grades in English, History and Psychology at GCSE level. Tutoring while I am studying myself will make my uni experience much more enjoyable than if I were working a physically taxing job -like I am currently.
The outcome I want from my lessons is to guide passionate learners. Of course I want them all to be aiming for top grades, it would fill me with an entirely new sense of pride seeing ‘students’ of my own flourish. But more importantly, the student must be passionate about what they learn. Otherwise it’s just in one ear and out the other. Retaining information once you progress to further education is entirely the point of the qualification.

As a neurodivergent student, I often struggled with both the structure of education and lack there of. Essay writing involves a very standardised structure; however, working out your own personal formula makes learning less of an obligation and more of a joy. Your passion for study is most important; think of it not as a qualification, but instead, integrating the world around you.
