About Breanna
I am currently a junior in college and I have been tutoring since fall of my sophomore year, so I have had a lot of experience in collaborating with other students and getting them to better understand course material. Over time I have also accumulated flexible, student-centered approaches that I have incorporated into my tutoring style to ensure that the student isn't intimidated and is capable of asking as many questions as they can and better their understanding of the material. I can guarantee that having me as a tutor will give students a chance to optimize collaboration and critical thinking, which are two very important aspects of learning.

I typically tutor in a way that prioritizes the students actual understanding of the material instead of regurgitating information for the student to retain. I use analogies, practice questions, videos, and slide presentations to ensure that the student has a good foundation for understanding the material. I also make sure that the student has work that they can use outside of lessons to sharpen their understanding of the material. My sessions will mainly be targeted towards undergraduate students taking science course.
