About Abigail
I earned my B.Sc in Physics followed by an M.Sc in Applied Physics, developing a strong foundation in both theoretical understanding and practical application. Over 8 years of teaching experience, I have helped students move from uncertainty to clarity by breaking down complex ideas into manageable explanations. I believe effective physics teaching requires patience and adaptability. I adjust my explanations using diagrams, analogies, and structured steps based on how each student learns best. Creating a supportive environment where questions are welcomed is central to my teaching style. Beyond teaching, I remain engaged with physics through research articles, scientific discussions, and continuous learning. These activities keep my lessons fresh and relevant. Teaching physics is rewarding because I see students gain confidence in their reasoning abilities and develop trust in their intellectual strength. I aim to make abstract concepts feel approachable by linking them to real-world observations. Lessons are calm, interactive, and designed to remove anxiety around equations. Students are guided step by step through problem-solving strategies, diagram interpretation, and conceptual analysis. Beginners receive patient explanations and visual support, while advanced learners refine calculations, derivations, and exam techniques. Practice questions and guided corrections help students recognise patterns and avoid common mistakes. Every lesson builds steadily on previous understanding. Physics learning also strengthens critical thinking, patience, and confidence. As students begin to understand how physical laws govern the world, they develop curiosity and analytical discipline.
