About Shan
I am a qualified Teacher and experienced Physics tutor with 7+ years of education experience providing one-to-one tuition from 11+ through to GCSE, IGCSE, O-Level, and A-Level Physics.
I hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK and have extensive experience teaching and supporting students in mathematically rigorous subjects. My academic background includes a BSc in Accounting & Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), alongside ongoing postgraduate study in Mathematics, which strongly underpins my Physics teaching.
Alongside private tutoring, I have worked as a Further Education (FE) College lecturer, teaching GCSE and A-Level students and supporting learners with a wide range of abilities and learning styles. This classroom experience allows me to adapt explanations effectively for students who find Physics challenging or intimidating.
My sessions are reserved for students and families who value clarity, structure, and long-term confidence building, particularly in subjects that require careful reasoning and precision.

My Physics lessons are calm, structured, and exam-focused, with a strong emphasis on helping students understand the underlying principles before applying them to exam-style questions.
