About Madhan
I’m a Master’s student in Physics with a background in Computer Science and published work in astrophysics. My experience ranges from academic research to the tech industry, giving me a broad view of how theory translates into practice. My teaching approach is simple: understanding before memorisation. I break topics down to their foundations — the smallest logical or physical units — and rebuild them step by step. Whether we’re tackling recursion, quantum mechanics, or calculus, I help students see the structure beneath the surface so that every concept makes sense and sticks. I teach maths, physics, and computer science to GCSE, A-level, and university students. Lessons are clear, structured, and adapted to each student’s level and pace. My goal is to make even the most abstract ideas feel intuitive and manageable. I take pride in being patient, professional, and methodical. Students can expect focused lessons, honest feedback, and steady progress — all built on a genuine passion for STEM and learning how things truly work.

My teaching style is all about breaking complex ideas down to their most basic building blocks, then rebuilding them step by step. I believe true understanding comes from seeing how everything fits together from the ground up — whether it’s recursion down to bits, physics down to atoms, or mathematics down to axioms. In each lesson, I start by identifying what the student already knows, then use clear explanations, examples, and practice problems to connect the basics to more advanced ideas. This approach helps students develop strong intuition and long-term understanding, not just memorise formulas. Lessons usually run 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the topic and the student’s goals. I’m currently completing a Master’s in Physics, hold a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, and have published research in astrophysics. I’ve also worked in the tech industry, giving me a practical perspective on how theory applies in the real world. I teach GCSE, A-level, and university-level students in maths, physics, and computer science — anyone who wants to really understand how things work, not just pass exams.
