About Vané
I've won multiple academic awards thorough high school, numerous in math, and finished high school with a math average of 97% and an overall average of 95%. I currently attend U of T as a second year student double majoring in physics and political science, where I hold a GPA of 3.7.
I've tutored numerous younger children to fill in the gap left by online school and help them succeed, as well as multiple friends throughout school. I currently tutor at a tutoring agency in Toronto, and have plenty of experience tutoring online.
I'm down-to-earth and understand that kindness and patience go a long way when teaching daunting novel concepts, and as a student myself, understand that nothing beats the joy of finally solving a tricky problem.

I'm a caring and patient tutor that gets that math is a tricky language to properly understand. I focus on clearly communicating problems and describing their solutions in numerous easy-to-digest ways, especially for young students.
A typical lesson plan would go over any assigned homework, past tests, and additional worksheets to ensure that the student accurately grasps the concepts. As a physics and political science double major, I have both the mathematical toolkit and the communication and speaking skills needed to thoroughly unpack it for learners.
My lessons are best fit for elementary school kids who are struggling in math, but can be easily adjusted for high school kids that are in the same boat.
