About Max
Hi, I’m Max, a physics graduate with a passion for helping students feel more confident in maths and physics. I know how overwhelming these subjects can feel at times, but I genuinely enjoy breaking complex ideas down into something clear and manageable. I’ve always been the type of person who likes to ask why — and that’s exactly how I teach, making sure you not only know how to solve a problem, but understand the thinking behind it. I started tutoring because I’ve seen how powerful it is when someone takes the time to explain things step by step, without pressure or judgement. Whether you're revising for exams, catching up on missed content, or just want to feel less stuck in class, I’m here to support you in a way that makes sense to you. My goal is to make maths and physics feel less intimidating — and maybe even a bit enjoyable.

I’m a physics graduate offering GCSE maths and physics tutoring both online and in person. My lessons focus on understanding the “why” behind each topic, using step-by-step problem solving and real-world examples to make concepts stick. I prepare custom notes and practice questions for each session, and we work through problems together to build confidence and solid exam technique. Lessons are typically an hour long and tailored to each student’s pace and needs, with flexible formats available—including online tutoring without the need for a camera.
