5 decades of impactful roles in education and the weather data and climate analysis and forecasting industries. Co-founder and first Director of Meteorology at The Weather Channel. 9 years teaching at the college level and 22 years doing on-line posts and analytic reports for enthusiasts and clients. Peer reviewed research in weather and climate attribution and in the role of major ocean terrestrial and extraterrestrial oscillations play in short and long term anomalies and major weather events. Severe weather expertise. Certified Consulting Meteorologist and Fellow of the American Meteorological Society, elected by my peers as an AMS Councilor. Chaired AMS Committee on Weather Analysis and Forecasting. Chaired conferences for AMS, NWA. Many papers presented at conferences and meetings.
