Sammy is kind, patient and passionate about his work. He will be not only a great teacher but an inspiration to any student that is lucky enough to work with him. I had bought my first SLR camera and had no idea how to use any of the settings or what any of the common camera terms meant. Sam was able to explain how to use my aperture settings, understand iso, and set my shutter speed to best create the type of imagery that I was after. He is very good at providing sound advice for how to create brilliant images and how to be in control of the your image making. He has taught me basic technical skills, as well as more advanced photography principles and methods. He is well versed in the technology of both film and digital cameras and does a brilliant job of explaining how to use post process editing tools as well. I would HIGHLY recommend working with him as a tutor.
