About Trevor
Hi everyone, I'm Trevor. A Eugene native, I have a deep passion for learning and education. I help students understand their own learning methods and techniques, and will help them not only in the material but in applying the material to deeply relevant and personal ambitions or interests. I mainly specialize in history, philosophy, and social studies, and my main strengths lie in essay composition and abstract thinking.

A lesson with me would generally consist of an overview of their understanding of the topic, where shortfalls may be, and what is expected of them to master their subject. I employ the Socratic method of dialogue in my own studies, and I find that having someone to discuss a problem with oftentimes helps the student make new connections, on their own, that they would not have if they only tried it by themselves.
