About Richard
I have been giving lessons in music for 5 years, and I've given ESOL lessons for three months only, this being cut short due to Covid19 and the job shortages which followed.
I taught around 30 students in ESOL, and 60 in Music, receiving heaps of praise from students and parents alike, and helping a drum student attain a Distinction in his grade 1 Trinity drum exam.

My teaching method follows a course book, which I compliment with games, videos and activities so as to vary the lessons and make them more fun and engaging. My approach is to plan the lesson as indicated by the Teacher's book, omitting tasks I consider irrelevant, and try to test the language acquired from every lesson in some way, whether a speaking or writing activity.
