About Jada
I am a PhD student with degrees in biology and chemistry and several years of experience teaching and mentoring students across K–12 and college levels. I have taught college-level courses and labs as well as worked with younger students, giving me a strong understanding of how to adapt instruction to different ages, backgrounds, and learning styles. My academic background spans biology, chemistry, mathematics, and information technology, allowing me to support students across a wide range of STEM courses. My approach to tutoring is structured, patient, and individualized. I focus on building strong foundations, identifying gaps in understanding, and helping students develop effective study and problem-solving strategies. I regularly assist students with exam preparation, homework, lab reports, data analysis, and scientific or technical writing. I believe that success in STEM comes from clear explanations and confidence in core concepts. I offer in-person tutoring in the Baton Rouge area and virtual sessions, with flexible scheduling to meet student needs.
