About Alessandro
School has not started as you had hoped? Is there any bad note you would like to fix? Do you feel the need for support in Latin, Greek or Italian? Would you like to combine, for these subjects, a path of personal reinforcement to the school? I can help you. I am Alessandro, I am 25 years old, I was born with a passion for classical culture and I am doing a job of it: I graduated in Greek in Padua a year ago and here I continue my research activity, after winning a scholarship. I have always given private lessons, with dedication, experience and excellent preparation. Thanks to my young age, with students I have always tried to create a relationship that is as equal and informal as possible! I wait for you!

I prefer an inductive method (from the particular to the rule), both because I find that generally it interests more the student, and because it often proves more effective. I also usually try to find parallels with areas that children recognise as closer to them than the ancient languages: not just working - as is traditionally done - on etymologies (Latin is very close to our Italian and too often people in school forget about it!), but also thinking of grammar by means of parallels with English, for example ... Few people realise, after all, that the active periphrastic in Latin (facturus sum) and the future "going to" in English are almost the same! Here they are some ideas, hope to see you soon!
