About Ole Kristian
I have a bachelor's degree in "economics, finance and international business" from Oxford Brookes in England, a master's degree in economics and economic analysis from the Norwegian School of Economics and is currently writing a doctorate in business economics and competition at NHH. I have also worked one year as an economist at a Norwegian directorate, and one year part-time as an economist for the British Office for National Statistics.
I live and work in Bergen.

My teaching philosophy is based on understanding the content of the subjects intuitively, what we are trying to say something about, so that we can use figures and mathematical reasoning with ease. We all learn differently and teaching must be adjusted individually and I adapt to how you learn best.
I worked as a teaching/student assistant during both my bachelor's and master's degree, and now have teaching obligations in relation to my doctoral studies. I have teaching experience with subjects within:
- mathematics for economists
- microeconomics
- econometrics and statistics.
I offer the following:
- single lessons for people who have specific questions or have an exam and need a final push to understand something
- longer follow-up for you who * must * get through a subject
- reading and comments on bachelor's or master's theses
