About Tharindu
I am a PhD student researching on cyber security and looking for teaching opportunities in cyber security domain as I have 5+ years experience working as a software security engineer and also as a technical lead and having hands on experience in writing secure code, conducting penetration testing, vulnerability management and security assessments. I am well versed with security recommendations of OWASP, SANS and Oracle for web application security and also have used tools like Veracode, Qualys, IBM AppScan, HP Fortify, NMap, BurpSuite, SQLMap etc. at enterprise scale. Apart from that I am experienced in security protocols such as OAuth, OpenID Connect, JWT, SAML etc. which are heavily used in Identity & Access Management domain.
