About Michael
I am currently pursuing my PhD in Genetics at Texas A&M University. My research focuses on the impact of genetic background on susceptibility to cancers that metastasize, specifically colorectal cancer. I use mice as a model organism to help identify genetic modifiers that confer susceptibility to or protection from metastasis.

My primary teaching method is by encouraging students to think critically and creatively. However, I like to cater my teaching style to each students specific needs and learning style.
