About Abigail
I am a PhD student in economics. My research focus is at the intersection between economics, psychology, and sociology. I have experience working with neurodivergent students, later in life students, doing Zoom tutoring and in person. I have tutored statistics, economics, and mathematics. I enjoy making practice problems or examples in tutoring that reflect the interests of my students, so they can engage with the material in a personal way.

My lessons in every subject are specifically catered to the student. I use different teaching methods and techniques depending on the needs of the student. The goal of my lessons is not to help the student memorize the material to do well on a test; I want my students to really understand why the things they are learning should matter to them, and gain a rigorous understanding of the material.
