Being a fanatic of linguistic translation (:)), it's my aim to do my very best to transmit to my students an orderly methodology and the necessary tools to fully understand and appreciate Classical texts in Greek and Latin (of any level) and produce a correct and effective Italian translation. In this very same process I like to provide them with a little digressions on the ancient world to better picture the text's broader context and to comment on the text itself. For younger students, I consider fundamental my help in their understanding and using the Italian language and its basic structures in an effective and correct - and above all conscious - way. For the little ones I'm also available to guide them in their first steps in learning foreign languages, English, French or German. For each type of humanistic subject and for each level (from primary school up to university academic activity) I am available to teach my students the guidelines for a methodology that helps them to identify the fundamental concepts (through underlining, production of notes, summaries, oral presentation) to facilitate the individual study decreasing the amount of mnemonic effort and time consumption and encouraging a more conscious and internalized learning. I'm available to support students in their training for any kind of written or oral examination ( in particular I can support in preparing admission exams for the Scuola Normale Superiore). I can do some correctional/copywriting work on their written products for presentations, theses etc etc.
