About Tifany

I am currently a PhD researcher in forestry and sustainability, with a background spanning environmental impact assessment, ecological research, education, and stakeholder engagement. Prior to beginning my doctoral studies, I worked in both environmental consulting and corporate training and quality assurance roles, which helped me develop strong communication, project management, and analytical skills.

My research focuses on forest resilience, stakeholder perspectives, ecosystem services, and sustainable land management. Through my academic and professional experiences, I have developed skills in data analysis, scientific writing, survey design, stakeholder engagement, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Beyond my research, I enjoy science communication and community engagement. I have served as a student representative and have been involved in organizing educational and environmental outreach activities. In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring nature with my family, traveling, reading, and learning about environmental policy and sustainability issues. As a parent, I also enjoy supporting my young daughter's learning and curiosity about the world.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is student-centered, interactive, and tailored to individual learning needs. I focus on building understanding through clear explanations, real-world examples, guided practice, and regular feedback. Lessons typically last 60 minutes, although longer sessions can be arranged if needed.

I have experience teaching biology, environmental science, and academic skills, both formally and informally, through my work as a Biology Teacher, Trainer, and PhD researcher. My lessons are suitable for primary, secondary, and university students, as well as adult learners seeking support with science subjects, research methods, academic writing, or environmental studies.
