About Dr Nisar
I am Drnis, a PhD-qualified tutor with over 20 years of experience supporting students in developing effective study skills, revision strategies, and exam confidence. I have worked with students of different abilities, helping them become more organised, independent learners and improve their performance across GCSE subjects.
My approach is structured, supportive, and tailored to each student’s needs. I focus on teaching proven revision techniques, memory strategies, and time management skills that students can apply immediately to their schoolwork. This helps reduce stress, build confidence, and improve overall academic performance.

My Approach to Tutoring
My tutoring focuses on helping students develop effective study skills, strong revision techniques, and exam confidence so they can improve across all GCSE subjects. I teach students how to revise smarter, stay organised, and become independent learners rather than relying on memorisation alone.

Students learn proven techniques for note-taking, memory improvement, time management, and planning revision. I also tailor lessons to each student’s learning style and school requirements, ensuring support is practical and immediately useful.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes and includes:

• Applying techniques to current school subjects
• Clear action plan for independent study
