About Antonio Pio
I am a PhD candidate in Philosophy at University College Dublin, specialising in Ethics, Metaphysics, and Political Theory. With years of experience tutoring both high school and university students, I bring a deep understanding of complex philosophical concepts and a commitment to fostering critical thinking. My background as a former professional volleyball player and certified coach has instilled in me discipline, collaboration, and a strategic approach to teaching, which I integrate into my lessons. I have also received advanced training in teaching methodology at UCD, ensuring that my lessons are engaging, personalised, and effective. Additionally, I have co-founded a think tank and volunteered with several NGOs, earning a Certificate of Merit for my social service during the COVID-19 pandemic. My aim is to support students in building confidence and achieving academic success, while fostering a deeper understanding of philosophy and its real-world applications.

I take a personalised approach to tutoring, tailoring each lesson to the individual’s needs and learning style.
