About Paul
Hello !
My name is Paul and I have a PhD in Organic Chemistry awarded from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. I have 4 years experience of postdoctoral researcher in Synthetic Organic and Medicinal Chemistry at University of Warwick and Cardiff University.
I offer online and in-person GCSE and A Level Chemistry tutoring.
I have 4 years experience of tutorial classes in Organic Chemistry and Inorganic chemistry in the university. My teaching focuses on how to sort out the chemistry problems/questions logically, and explain all chemistry concepts to build up a strong background in chemistry. Therefore, students can solve questions based on the fundamental chemistry concepts correlation and thinking logically.

In my lessons, I explain all chemistry concepts using visual and practical examples to consolidate your knowledge. I will draw some things on the paper to give you a clear picture of the chemistry, show you how to think logically in chemistry, and sort out all of your questions step-by-step. Then, we will go through the past paper questions to enforce your understanding and demonstrate how to answer the questions in the exams. I am happy to discuss with you what teaching style is suitable for you, and I will fit your style in the lessons.
Lessons are 1 hour in length and take place online or in-person. In-person lessons are only suited for people living in Manchester.
Lessons can be in the evening from Monday to Friday, and afternoon on Saturday.
Online Lessons are £50 per hour. In-person Lessons are £50 per hour. We can discuss the payment method in the first lesson.
The first lesson is free as I need to know does my teaching style/method match the students.
