PhD in molecular dynamics with a passion for teaching and making the molecular world accesible and visible for students

I’ve had the pleasure to teach undergraduate students at the university with Lanie and have seen firsthand how great she’s at explaining concepts in simple and concise manner to students. She was very kind and patient to all students, and she contributed significantly in achieving their learning outcomes. She’s also taught me a lot during times I struggled with my research project and I’m very confident in her abilities to make a wonderful tutor. :)

Lanie is a great teacher always very patient and great at explaining things, my son was really struggling to understand maths last year and after doing a couple of classes with her his confidence improved and he became really good at the tasks and test at school I could not fault her she is 5 stars!

Lanie is a marvellous teacher very patient and good at explaining things in very simple ways, she coached my son who was really struggling with Math and after doing a couple of classes with her he really started to improve at school she is a star!

Lanie and I help teach a 3rd year university practical class on protein structure and function. All the students love her! Whenever she's away, they all ask "Where's Lanie ?!?"

Working with Lanie, I've found that she is very good at identifying the areas where the student needs help, she's thoughtful and compassionate and she's incredibly organised.

Not only that, but she's fun to be around and has a great sense of humour! I highly recommend her to any student looking to improve their understanding of biochemistry / molecular biology
