As an examiner, I know exactly what earns marks and what loses them. I can show you how examiners read an answer, which command words trip students up, and how to turn a "nearly there" response into full marks. Many students know the content but lose marks on technique, and that is what I help fix.
My PhD means I understand the science behind the specification, not just the mark scheme, so I can explain difficult topics clearly and from first principles. With QTS, a PGCE and more than 15 years of classroom experience and private tutoring, I plan every session around how students actually learn.
• We start by identifying your gaps through exam question analysis rather than guesswork
• Clear explanations, worked examples and exam-style practice
• Detailed feedback on written answers, including 6-mark and extended response questions
• Tailored resources and revision materials
• Progress updates for parents.
