About Jean-Baptiste
I have followed a Licence/Master/PhD cursus with a proven publication record (for a detailed description of my work, you can find my profile on ORCID or LinkedIn).
During my PhD, I have tutored and performed teaching of the Advanced Organic Chemistry course. Eight undergrad and graduate students have worked under my guidance. They all graduated from their respective programs and published during their time in the lab and are now pursuing either their graduate studies or their PhD.
I am confident I can pinpoint what stops you from understanding the key-concepts you are struggling with careful attention to your ability to explain the problem.
I generally ask for students to send me resource of the course they want to focus on ahead of time with a brief description of their issue for me to prepare the lesson. It ensures we can make the best of your time and money.

The lessons are focused on what you are currently studying. After an evaluation of the course you want guidance with, a plan will be detailed balancing theoretical knowledge and practical application through cases study.
The idea is to breakdown the concepts you are struggling with to make you understand the mechanics behind it. In terms it will allow you to apply it in more complex settings you may be facing during an exam or in during your Honors/PhD.
This methodology is applicable to every concept including stereochemistry, reaction mechanism, interpretation of analysis such as NMR, essay or publication writing, etc. You pick your battle, we make it work.
The course is for every level, with an emphasis on Licence and Master degrees. PhD students looking to improve their writing skills are also welcome.
