About Omar
As a PhD in molecular biology, I was required to TA various courses such as introductory biology, anatomy and physiology, genetics etc so I have the background and experience to teach confidently. Furthermore, my English is excellent and I was a writing tutor during my undergraduate studies meaning I will be able to help students with any difficulties they may have even with regards to understanding questions.

My teaching method is student oriented - meaning that you set the agenda and specific area which you would like to be tutored on and we go from there. For example, if you have difficulties understanding genetic inheritance, you would let me know that this is the area in which you need help and my lesson plan would involve a brief introduction into the background of the subject before explaining the mechanics and going through problems/examples for the rest of the session (making sure to check in for specific issues/questions that the student wants answered/help with).
