About Kwadwo

I want to teach because I believe education has the power to transform people’s lives. Teaching allows me to share knowledge and experiences that can help others grow in confidence, develop new skills, and reach their potential. I find it deeply rewarding to see learners progress—from uncertainty at the beginning to competence and pride in what they can achieve. As someone who values continuous learning, teaching also challenges me to stay updated, reflect on my own practice, and adapt to different learning needs. It’s a two-way process—I learn as much from my students as they learn from me. Ultimately, I want to teach because it enables me to make a positive difference, whether that’s by shaping future professionals, improving practice standards, or empowering individuals to achieve their goals.

About the lesson

My personal approach to tutoring is learner-centred and reflective, focusing on creating a supportive environment where learners feel valued, understood, and motivated to reach their potential. I begin by identifying each learner’s strengths, learning styles, and areas for development through open dialogue and observation. This helps me tailor my teaching methods to suit individual needs—whether through visual aids, discussion, practical demonstrations, or problem-based learning. I also promote active participation and critical reflection, encouraging learners to relate new knowledge to real-life experiences. I believe learning is most effective when it is collaborative and grounded in practice, so I use questioning techniques that stimulate thinking rather than provide direct answers. Feedback is an essential part of my approach. I provide constructive, timely feedback that highlights progress while identifying areas for improvement, fostering confidence and self-awareness. I also encourage learners to evaluate their own performance and set realistic goals for development. Ultimately, my approach aims to build autonomy, confidence, and lifelong learning habits by balancing support and challenge in a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.
