About Anna

Hi, I'm Anna, a PhD researcher in Criminology at Loughborough University with a passion for helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals.

Alongside my research, I teach, train, and speak on topics including criminology, sociology, relationships, domestic abuse, gender, sexuality, and social justice. I have experience supporting learners from a wide range of backgrounds and understand that everyone learns differently.

Whether you're aiming for top grades, tackling a challenging assignment, or simply looking to feel more confident in your studies, I provide supportive, personalised tuition tailored to your needs.

About the lesson

My lessons are tailored to each student's goals, experience, and learning style. Whether you need help understanding key concepts, improving your academic writing, preparing for exams, developing research skills, or completing a dissertation, I will work with you to build confidence and achieve your objectives.

As a PhD researcher and experienced educator, I understand that academic work can sometimes feel overwhelming. My approach is supportive, encouraging, and practical, creating a space where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their ideas.

Sessions can cover Criminology, Sociology, research methods, academic writing, essay planning, critical analysis, dissertation support, referencing, revision strategies, and study skills. I work with GCSE, A-Level, undergraduate, postgraduate, and mature learners.

My aim is not just to help you complete an assignment or pass an exam, but to develop the skills and confidence that will support you throughout your studies and beyond.

What stood out most was her ability to provide constructive feedback while remaining encouraging and approachable. Her support made a huge difference to both my confidence and the quality of my work.

Anna was incredibly supportive throughout my studies. She explained complex criminology concepts in a way that was easy to understand and helped me improve my confidence with academic writing and critical analysis. Every session was tailored to what I needed, and I always left feeling more confident than when I arrived. I would highly recommend her to anyone studying Criminology or Sociology.
