About Dr Gaurav
I am Dr Gaurav Kumar, a passionate educator and researcher with a PhD in Computer Science and professional teaching experience at university level. I have worked as an Assistant Professor and researcher in India, Spain, Germany, and the UK, specialising in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Computer Science.
I enjoy helping students build confidence in Maths and programming by making complex concepts simple and easy to understand. My teaching style is patient, supportive, and personalised according to each student’s learning pace and goals.
I believe every student can succeed with the right guidance, practice, and encouragement. Whether you are preparing for exams, improving your coding skills, or learning a subject from the basics, I aim to create a friendly and motivating learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and growing academically.

I teach Maths, Computer Science, Python programming, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning simply and interactively tailored to each student’s learning style.
My lessons are suitable for GCSE, A-Level, undergraduate students, and beginners interested in coding or AI. I focus on building strong fundamentals, problem-solving skills, and practical understanding through examples and exercises. Classes are usually 1 hour long and can be conducted online or in person in Colchester.
I have experience teaching university courses, including Data Structures, Machine Learning, and Data Mining, and I enjoy helping students gain confidence and achieve their academic goals.
