About Matius
I am currently a PhD student at the University of Birmingham. I have 4 years of teaching experience as composition and music theory lecturer at some universities in Indonesia. In addition, I've been arranging music and conducting some ensemble and orchestra during my time in Indonesia and Germany.

My teaching method offers personal face to face tutorial on a basic level, intermediate, and advance/higher level in composition and music theory. The teaching will be based on the particular necessity of the student. The basic level cover the key element in composition and music theory such as the study of melody, rhythm, harmony, and notation. The intermediate level will cover a more advanced study of musical form, instrumentation, and orchestration. The higher level will discuss much on the deeper aspect of musical composition which includes musical concept and realization, advanced notation, and idiomatic approach of compositional material and instrumentation.
