About Phillip

I have been an ESL/EFL teacher for more than 25 years in Brazil, Japan and Australia.
I have also many qualifications including PhD candidature, MA in Applied Linguistics and a Graduate Certificate in Qualitative Health Research from the University of Sydney Medical School.
Recently completed a Graduate Certificate in Green Roofs and Walls from the school of Applied Science from the University of Melbourne.

About the lesson

Firstly, it is essential to understand in detail the requirements of the student. After this I like to know and understand the topic of student interest. I believe teaching is an interaction between student and teacher and this interaction is made possible through informed communication.
