Claire is an extremely hard working, dedicated tutor. I couldn’t recommend her enough, her talent and drive is second to none.

I have collaborated with claire as an artist as well as on community based projects. She has a wide knowledge base in fine art and interdisciplinary methods and would provide tuition across a breadth of practical and theoretical subjects. She also provides connections between fine art and wider knowledge, meaning she can work with any skill level - whether learning to draw for the first time, building a portfolio for art school or for professional development in working with a critically acclaimed artist. As an alumni of Glasgow school of art and having won awards and commissions from large bodies you can be sure to find yourself in good hands. I couldn't recommend her as a person or artist more.

Having collaborated with Claire on a number of projects over the past 4 years I can’t recommend her enough. Her professional, organised and most importantly personable approach to work is a real asset. Not only this, but she is highly skilled and dedicated to her own practice, I’ve learnt a lot from her.

Having known Claire since she undertook a portfolio course at Tramway Visual Arts Studio, throughout her time studying at Glasgow School of Art and knowing her as the artist she is today, I can confidently say that she is an adept tutor. She is familiar with the process of applying to art school and the structure of the Fine Art course/degree.

I studied with Claire at The Glasgow School of Art. She is a lovely person, both giving and kind. She is patient and helpful. I would highly recommend her as a teacher to anybody wanting to learn in a relaxed but constructive environment.
