About Angelique
I graduated with a postgraduate diploma in Career Guidance in 2014. In addition to my day job as a Quality Improvement Manager at BCS, the Chartered Institute for IT, I’m also the Lead of the internal Coaching Network, managing a team of 12 coaches. I find coaching really rewarding, seeing how quickly my coachees progress once they’ve identified and removed their barriers. Prior to working at BCS I was a learning technologist and designer where I often mentored more junior colleagues and academics in the art of using technology to create engaging learning. I am also an experienced educator, with over 12 years' experience designing and delivering training to students and staff. I enjoy the creativity and again, seeing that lightbulb moment when someone realises they can do something that they never thought they’d be able to do.

Coaching is all about you! Think of me as your confidential sounding board, there to guide you towards reaching your personal or professional goals. Whether it be to navigate your new role or team in an organisation, to find out what you really want from a job, or to gain the confidence to put yourself forward for opportunities to progress your career. I have coached individuals at all career levels, from early careers to middle management to department heads. I’ve helped them achieve promotions, career transitions, solidify their position in a new team, foster strong and positive professional relationships, and even a bit of mental health first aid. I specialise in confidence building and self-awareness raising (understanding how others see you compared to how you see yourself) which, in my experience, are the most common barriers to progression and success.

Details
The first free session is what I call a ‘Chemistry Session’. It’s where we find out if we vibe. I’ll explain how coaching works, we’ll explore what you want to achieve from coaching, and a taster of coaching to see if it’s for you. Package wise. Most coaching experiences last for 6 one-hour sessions, in addition to the chemistry session. Therefore I advise you to purchase the 5h package.
