About Selena
As a tutor who has taken the AP Chinese Language and Culture Exam and continues to actively use Mandarin in both academic and conversational settings, I understand the challenges students face when learning Chinese. I specialize in helping AP Chinese students and language learners improve their speaking, reading, writing, listening, and story narration skills through personalized one-on-one online lessons.

I have a patient and encouraging teaching style, and provide lessons that align to the student’s goals, whether that be preparing for the AP exam, improving in conversation and pronunciation, or strengthening grammar and vocabulary. I also provide practice with cultural topics, and real AP-style questions to help students feel fully prepared.
