About Anna
I am an experienced Mathematics tutor with 6 years of teaching experience and a passion for helping students achieve their academic goals. I teach learners ranging from K–12 to first-year college, providing lessons that combine clear explanations, focused practice, and personalized academic guidance.
Throughout my teaching experience, I have helped students overcome difficulties with fundamental and advanced mathematical concepts. I understand that some learners need additional time to grasp a topic, while others benefit from more challenging questions. Therefore, I adjust my teaching style, pace, and exercises according to each student.
My tutoring covers areas such as arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, probability, statistics, equations, functions, and analytical reasoning. I can also assist with homework, coursework, revision, examinations, and preparation for important academic assessments.
I believe effective tutoring involves more than explaining a solution. I encourage students to understand why a method works, practice applying it independently, and develop strategies for approaching unfamiliar questions. I also provide constructive feedback to help them identify weaknesses and improve accuracy.
I aim to create a relaxed and supportive atmosphere where students can ask questions without hesitation. My mathematics tutoring sessions provide structured and personalized academic support for learners from K–12 through first-year college. I tailor each lesson according to the student’s syllabus, current knowledge, academic objectives, and areas requiring additional attention.
