About Louise
My name is Louise and I am from Glasgow, Scotland. I have always loved music and began learning piano and violin at age six. I graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2017 with a degree in Music Education and Piano specialism.
Piano has been my passion for as long as I can remember, and I have been sharing that passion with others through teaching piano since I was a student in 2013. Having over ten years experience with piano teaching, I am well equipped to teach across different age groups and ability levels and am eager to help you achieve your goals with piano.
Since graduating, I have worked as a classroom music teacher in primary and secondary schools both in Scotland and in the UAE. I am currently Head of Music at a British International School in Dubai.
As well as teaching, I have experience in performing piano at weddings and events, and accompanying choirs and instrumentalists.
As musicians, we are always learning. I am currently working on:

My name is Louise and I am a music teacher and pianist from Scotland currently living in Dubai. I have a degree in Music Education from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
I have experiece teaching from age 4 to adults in their 70s. Each student has a personalised lesson based on their own musical goals - whether that is to progress through taking graded exams such as Trinity or ABRSM, or just to learn as a new hobby for fun.
I have experience in teaching a range of abilities. I have worked with students hoping to study music at college, helping them with repertoire and advanced technique, as well as with complete beginners at various stages in life.
For beginners and for children, I reccomend a 30 minute lesson. For intermediate to advanced students, I reccomend lessons at 45 minutes to one hour.
