About Chris
I am a professional musician with over 20 years of experience, performing across a wide range of musical styles. I have appeared at Ireland’s leading jazz festivals, including Bray Jazz, Cork Jazz, Brilliant Corners and 12 Points!, and have performed internationally in France, Belgium, Romania, Germany, Switzerland and Australia.

Whether you’re picking up the guitar for the first time or looking to take your playing to the next level, I offer supportive, personalised lessons focused on making real musical progress.
I’m a professional guitarist with a BA in Jazz Performance from Newpark Music Centre and an MA in Jazz Performance from HSLU Luzern (Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts), Switzerland. I perform and teach across a wide range of styles including jazz, pop, rock, blues, classical and contemporary music.
I work with students of all levels and place a strong emphasis on good technique, musical understanding and confidence on the instrument. With a strong background in music theory, I aim to make complex ideas clear, practical and directly applicable to your playing.
Lessons are always tailored to your goals — whether you want to improve technique, explore new styles, develop improvisation skills or simply enjoy playing music more.
