About Adam
I am a drama, singing and performance teacher working within a professional drama school setting, alongside private coaching work in acting, musical theatre, and audition preparation. I have experience teaching complete beginners through to advanced students preparing for drama school entry and performance training.
Working in a structured teaching environment has given me strong experience in supporting performers, building confidence, and developing core acting and performance skills in a clear and supportive way.
I am passionate about creating a positive and focused learning environment where students feel comfortable taking risks, developing their technique, and growing as performers. My aim is to help each student reach their individual goals, whether that is securing a place at drama school, improving audition technique, or building confidence in performance.

My coaching approach is focused on building strong foundational performance skills while helping students feel confident and supported in their individual development. I work with a combination of practical exercises, text or song analysis, and guided performance work. Sessions are tailored rather than fixed, so each lesson is adapted to the individual rather than following a rigid formula.
A typical lesson is 60 minutes and usually includes a warm-up, focused technical or acting exercises, and practical application through audition material, monologues, or songs. Where relevant, we also work on audition technique, character development, and confidence under performance conditions, helping students feel prepared for both training and industry environments.
I have over five years of teaching experience working with children, teenagers, and adults, from complete beginners through to students preparing for and already in drama school and performance training. My aim is to develop not just skill, but clarity, confidence, and consistency in performance.
Lessons are suitable for all levels, whether you are starting from scratch or refining material for auditions or further training.
