I hate rote-learning. My main focus is always making sure that the student takes home a deep understanding of simple concepts. Tutorial sessions comprising of problem solving techniques which are an integral part of Physics is always included. I use simple DIY demonstrations to ensure that learning isn't book-ish but is has a "Hands-on" approach as well.
