About Vera
I am an experienced Singing tutor with 12 years of teaching expertise, helping students improve their vocal abilities and musical understanding. I teach School students, College students, and Working Professionals who want to develop their singing skills and achieve meaningful progress.
My teaching philosophy is centred on patience, encouragement, and continuous learning. I believe that every student can improve when given proper guidance and support. Therefore, I create customised lesson plans that address each learner's strengths, challenges, and goals.
My lessons include vocal training, breath support, pitch correction, rhythm practice, voice projection, articulation, and performance preparation. I use interactive activities, song practice, and performance reviews to make learning engaging and effective. Students receive personalised feedback to support ongoing improvement.
In addition to Singing, I teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Vocal Coaching, and Music Appreciation. These subjects provide students with a broader understanding of music and strengthen their overall performance abilities. I also focus on healthy singing techniques and vocal care.
I strive to create a positive learning atmosphere where students feel motivated and confident. My goal is to help learners become expressive singers while developing a lifelong appreciation for music.

My methodology for teaching Singing is centred on flexibility, creativity, understanding, and time management. I believe singing is not only a musical skill but also a powerful way to build confidence, communication skills, and self-expression.
I begin by understanding the student's personality, musical interests, and goals. This helps me create personalised lessons that encourage both technical growth and personal development.
Creativity plays an important role in my classes. Through vocal exercises, song interpretation, storytelling, listening activities, and performance practice, students learn how to express emotions effectively through music.
My lessons focus on breathing techniques, pitch control, rhythm, diction, vocal tone, range development, and stage confidence. Students are guided through practical exercises that strengthen their voices and performance abilities.
Understanding and empathy help create a safe and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves and taking creative risks.
Time management ensures that lessons are productive and goal-oriented. Each session includes structured activities that support continuous improvement.
Along with Singing, I can teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Vocal Health, Sight Singing, and Performance Skills. My aim is to help students become confident, expressive, and accomplished singers who enjoy sharing their passion for music.
